Cybersecurity advice by PuntoGal and Arsys

PuntoGal, in collaboration with Arsys, launches today a campaign with practical advice on #cybersecurity in their website and social media  to raise awareness of their importance among webmasters, web administrators and the general public.  By a series of articles which will be periodically published on PuntoGal site, both entities will spread the most common cyber-attack techniques, such as email, data protection, web forms, etc., are also covered in this area… and all kinds of recommendations to improve our online security. The contents are available at www.dominio.gal/ciberseguridade

PuntoGal, which now has more than 6200 registered domains, “starts the new year reinforcing its commitment with security, specilly on the area of awarness and prevention. This is the focus in this collaboration project with Arsys, in which we insisted on the basic defensive measures and we will introduce the most common terms and techniques of attack”, says Dario Janeiro, general manager of PuntoGal. The initiative “reinforces our implication on this issue, started with the membership  to the Global Cyber Alliance in 2021, which made PuntoGal the first Galician entity to be part of it”.

“Cybersecurity is one of the main concerns in our companies. But there are still a lot of cases where our SMEs dedice to incorporat the more basic measures in this matter when they have to solver more or less serious problems. It is esential to be proactive in security and also awareness-raising needs to continue to be emphasised. This is precisely the aim of our collaboration with the PuntoGal Association, offering Galician general public, micro companies and SMEs useful information to help them to make business more secure, for them and for their customers,” explains Nieves Franco, CEO of Arsys.
