Today we talk with Belém Tajes, singer, composer and specialist in music therapy. The artist who was born in Buenos Aires, has been part of several music groups during her career.

Question: Who are you and what do you do?

Answer: I am Belém Tajes, a singer and musician.

Q: A little review of your history and your main works or activities during this time

A: Well, I have sung in several music groups as Vudú, Aliboria and I performed the 30 anniversary of Luar na Lubre. Recently I launched my single in Spanish, “Pájaro negro” with a video starring Xosé A. Touriñán. Now I am promoting from my website, my first audio-book called “Cantos do mar de Irlanda”.

Q: Which are your future plans? Where do you want to go?

A: My aim is to release my first album this year.

Q: Which is your web? Why did you choose that name? And, why do you prefer .gal domain?

A: My website is www.belemtajes.gal and I choose the .gal domain because I think that identifies the place where I live and I believe.

Q:  What do you think .gal provides to you?

A: I think it offers identity, it offers an image of community that is very important to be alive, and it also shows an important business network. This is not only a question of identity, but also that using a .gal is a synonym of power, creation and upgrading.
