Aífalaches.gal, a brand that speaks Galician

All Galician speakers like to be seen: in the car, on our clothes, in our totebags, etc. Aífalaches.gal makes it easy for you with its products, which come 100% from Galicia. T-shirts, mugs, doormats, stickers… gift ideas for special occasions or just to give ourselves a treat.

Question: Why do you use aífalaches.gal for your website?
Answer: Because of the project itself. In fact, in our brand, the .gal is part of the registered name of the brand, like the old .com. I did it this way from the beginning to emphasize the fact that we speak Galician.

Q: Where did the idea for your business come from?
A: To show Galician as a culture completely equal to any other. That is, to mix it with translations to other cultures so that those who want to, can share their language with the rest of the world. It also helps those who think it is a lesser language or culture to see that these ideas are in their head.

Q: What are your plans for the future and where do you want to go?
A: We want to continue making products where language is the main part of the message and design in a way to reach more places. By having a presence in more places, we support its normalization.

Q: Where do you mainly work and what are your main projects?
A: Right now we work from Vigo. The project was born in Pontevedra, since the Reizentolo brand incorporated my project into its operations and I work in its facilities.

Q: What do you think the .gal domain offers you?
A: First, to visibilize our culture as any other. It helps standardization. Secondly, it helps us to emphasize our commitment to culture and language.

Q: If there is anything you want to tell our readers, this is the place.
A: What we always repeat is that we don’t want to make anyone who doesn’t want to speak Galician speak it. What we do want is that if you have your own culture, don’t be ashamed of it, because culture is always richness.
